I began working with Hush back in 2012. Initially when I got a call sheet through from my booker I was unfamiliar with his work. However it said I was also working with a great photographer I had worked with many times before (Ruan Van Der Sande) so I had a feeling it was going to be an interesting project. Hush explained his process through to me and we took some photographs. From there he used the pictures as reference pictures for his paintings which have graced galleries on both side of the Atlantic. Most recently I visited his show at the Corey Helford Gallery in Los Angeles. It’s quite daunting standing besides large portraits of yourself, knowing that someone is going to purchase it and you’ll be hanging on the walls of someone’s house or office, but it is also extremely flattering.
Inquires about any pieces can be made directly to the gallery.
